In this episode we deconstruct a W-P Instruments Modem M4 device. Never knew what it did but purchased it at Michigan State Surplus Store for $5. This might be a close call if we got $5 worth of stuff out of it.
This was a tube based pre-amplifier and was built very well, the circuit board on it had copper standoffs where all the electroic part where soldered.
