From: Make:Zine  OK all you dudes in the low riders with the spinner wheels I just found  reason the dust off the bike in the basement and ride it around the block at night.  Very cool packaged system for bikes.  Wireless updates and thousands of colors.  Take pictures, drawing, text and ride them down the road.

Yes it has been a while... Got too focused on work again so it's time to decompress.  Nice thing about this post is that he shows how to tune the unit.  The instructions are in Japanese.

From: Maker Shed: He spent some time getting acquainted with the Gakken Premium Theremin and was pretty impressed with it, especially considering the relatively low price tag. Unlike most theremins this one runs off battery power, so an armband contact is used in ... Read More »

Well this is Uncle Shooter in this years costume.  Yes it's a Hazmat suit and that is a radition detector in my grubby paws.  I did a mod to it (Which I will post) that allows me to trigger it with a remote switch.  It flash a bright LED and sounds a speaker.

I decided to go to one of my customers office and walk around the outside of the building and act like I'm taking readings.  I would stop and pick up a Tranceiver and act like I was talking to someone.  Within minutes one of the employees blogged me.   The picture is a little foggy because it was taken through the office window with a cell phone.

OK, everyone needs someone to blame... so here it is fresh from the press... it's my fault.  In my defense I can say I did this after a fine bottle of tequila.

This is a video of the front of Uncle Shooter and family house for this years Halloween.  The video was taken standing out in the middle of the street.  Using a standard computer projector on a white sheet.  The audio is pumped through a PA amp (MSU Surplus $5) and a Trumpt speaker (MSU Suprlus $10).  My wife states "We probably won't get any kids this year".  Candy savings ($50.00).  More Halloween videos to come.

From: Lifehacker, While we're not much for motivational posters or trite slogans, this ten-point manifesto by Swiss artists Peter Fischli and David Weiss on how to work better is worth a mention. Artist Ryan Gander has a photocopy hung on the wall of his studio.  My dad was a simple person who thought it was more important to have some common sense (Street smarts) than book learning, I know he would like these 10 items.

Here is the original "Be My baby" video.  Always loved this song I was 12 years old and lusted after the lead singer.   Watch this video then go to this Boing-Boing link where a guy gets his afro cut and lip syncs to it, very weird but compelling.
